Hi I’m Jourdan Dunn and I’m a fashion model and a mother and I live in London.

00:12.000 --> 00:19.900
Style means to me just the freedom to be creative, self-expression and I think that it is for everybody.

00:20.100 --> 00:22.900
It doesn’t matter your size or shape.

00:23.000 --> 00:26.900
Before I was a mum, I was Jourdan, I was my own person.

00:27.000 --> 00:31.900
When Riley was much younger, I would feel guilty for working and I would feel like I was missing out on things.

00:32.000 --> 00:40.900
But I’ve just learnt to forgive myself and give myself a little slack. And be like you know what Jourdan it’s okay, take the pressure off.

00:41.000 --> 00:53.900
What has really helped me is having a great support system, if you’re a single parent and if you don’t have that I think you can create a family, create that support system and don’t be scared to ask for help.

00:54.000 --> 00:59.900
The Essenelle foundation is a mental health charity that supports sickle cell warriors and their families.

01:00.000 --> 01:06.900
And what I love about it is focusing on the wellness of that community.

01:07.000 --> 01:18.900
The physical pain that sickle cell warriors go through is immense, if that was there when I was going through my pregnancy, it would have helped me so much.

01:19.000 --> 01:25.900
Being in service it’s an exchange and it think its uplifting somebody and then it’s also uplifting you.

01:26.000 --> 01:34.000
and I believe when you’re in service then you are then living in an abundance and more will come to you and when you have more, you give.
